Meet Francesca & Justin. Charleston’s only husband + wife wedding planning and event management team.
Who better to understand the details of your wedding than a husband and wife team who have been in your very shoes? They’ve always been a great team, supportive of each other, and in love since the day they met. Your ability to have two individuals managing your day who are able to read each other’s minds and react to unforeseen events will be crucial.
Meet Francesca

Francesca is a small-town Pennsylvania native with big-city experience. She knew from an early age that her true passion lies within the event industry, after all; it’s in her blood. Her father, Vince is an executive chef and owner of restaurants, bars, a catering company and venue that she was involved with from a young age. She graduated from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and quickly realized her passion for event planning while working as an intern with Philadelphia Magazine. She quickly outgrew her role with the magazine and became a Brand Coordinator for Lane Bryant and Fashion Bug corporate offices where she learned the importance of visual design and brand development. That’s where the concept for Pure Luxe Bride came about. Francesca began handling day-of coordination and partial planning in the Philadelphia market. Upon realizing a dream, her and her husband Justin moved to Charleston, SC where she spent three years launching Newton Farms Catering from a concept to what is now a major competitor in the Charleston catering scene. With over 10 years of industry knowledge and design acumen, Francesca has taken the reins in Charleston by building great relationships with the Holy City’s top wedding venues and vendors.
Meet Justin

Justin is also a small-town Pennsylvania native that has a passion for finance and logistics. He’s a graduate of Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA, current MBA Candidate at The Citadel, and a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of Foreign War. While he is a financial planner full-time, he also is the logistics backbone for Pure Luxe Bride. Justin is the first one on-site to ensure floor plan is set-up, vendors are arriving on time and to answer any questions they may have. Justin also serves as the primary contact for the groom and groomsmen on the wedding day. He checks-in with them periodically to lighten the mood, get them a beverage or answer any questions they have for the day. With a strong military background and strong relationships, he’s the perfect match for Francesca’s expertise.
Meet Sara

Sara was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. At the age of 15 she left home to attend Ange Wildland Preparedness Education, a European adventure school in the North of Scandinavia. Upon graduation she traveled through Europe, Thailand, and The United States before attending the College of Charleston to study Hospitality and Tourism Management. She learned the service industry early on when she ran a Swedish park-cafe and later worked at Sigtuna Stads Hotel, a 5-star establishment in the oldest city of Sweden. Sara added professional bartending to her list of accolades before taking on her next adventure; an internship at Pure Luxe Bride. Day-to-day she helps with marketing, scheduling and to-do list follow-ups with our clients. On the wedding day she aids with set-up, break-down and acts as the brides and groom’s personal assistant to make sure they have everything they need throughout the day.

We are excited to announce that the JLV Creative team is now offering design services to the Pure Luxe Bride! Specializing in beautiful partial and full ceiling draping, custom linens, full-scale design services, custom lighting and art pieces (the perfect design element and wedding memento!).
Meet Jesse
Training as a professional seamstress alongside her mother, Jesse gained an appreciation for quality textiles and detailed construction at a very young age. With an immediate interest in design, Jesse began working with interiors beginning in her teenage years and has continued to do so since. In 2010 she embarked on a creative director and chief branding officer position in the fashion industry. After contributing to the successful launch and national spread of a now widely recognized apparel line, Jesse’s love of interior design beckoned and she decided to take a leap and launch her own firm in early 2012. Throughout the years Jesse’s resume has included both residential and commercial projects big and small. From restaurants and lounges to living rooms, nurseries, and outdoor spaces, Jesse has shown a full range of capabilities. Her latest addition to the firm’s offerings is event design & production. The JLV Creative team has since designed and produced events such as the nationally recognized BB&T Charleston Wine & Food Festival, International Fashion Designer Kukso Koo’s US Launch Benefit for Autism, and “WET: A Las Vegas Style Pool Club” upscale summer lounge.
Meet Mallie
Growing up going to countless antique and fabric stores and home tours with her design-guru mom and sisters, Mallie developed a love for design and home décor. She assisted her mother in designing their gorgeous family homes and has a true eye for style! Since joining the JLV Creative team, Mallie has demonstrated true aptitude for event design as well and has assisted in creating custom pieces for major nationally recognized event installations. Like Jesse, Mallie believes in the theory that “if there’s a will, there’s a way” and is always ready to find a way to make design dreams come alive. Recently promoted to project manager, Mallie’s consistently helpful, “can-do” attitude and excitement for design make her a truly special addition to our growing team!
