On May 24th, Allison + Alejandro shared a beautiful wedding at Magnolia Plantation Carriage House. This southern inspired celebration began at the Carriage House with a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the water. Guests enjoyed this amazing view seated beneath canopy umbrellas. After the bride and groom exchanged their vows, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour, followed by a delicious plated dinner indoors. Guests were greeted by southern, timeless, and romantic inspired decor as they entered the Carriage House. After dining on delicious low country cuisine, Allison + Alejandro danced the night away with friends and family.
Upon arrival at the outdoor wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed a cold mason jar full of cucumber water, lemon water, or blueberry water. These southern treats were perfect for an outdoor Charleston wedding.
A cocktail hour followed the ceremony, where guests sipped on sangria and other cocktails. In this reception area was a dance floor that was surrounded by lanterns, flowers, custom signs, and flip flops that served as dancing shoes.
A beautiful seated dinner was created with the help of Snyder Events, Gathering Floral + Event Design, and Cru Catering. Gathering Floral + Event Design created beautiful floral arrangements for the venue. Arrangements of pink, white, and green flowers accented the romantic and feminine theme that was seen throughout the night. These stunning floral arrangements looked beautiful against champagne colored linens, custom draping by Pure Luxe Bride, and uplighting throughout the inside of the Carriage House. A plated dinner of delicious, southern cuisine was provided by Cru Catering. Guests enjoyed these southern treats while toasting the bride and groom on their new marriage.
And we can’t forget about the incredible custom cake by Jim Smeal. WOW- what a stunner!
There is one thing for sure, the dance floor was never empty during Allison + Allejandro’s reception! DJ services from Ascend Entertainment provided music for the reception, where everyone danced to their favorite tunes from past and present. Allison + Alejandro incorporated traditions that are custom to Alejandro’s background from Chile. Towards the end of the reception, hats, beaded necklaces, boas, and other elaborate decorations were given to wedding guests to parade around in on the dance floor. This unique tradition made the reception even more fun as guests danced around the bride and groom.
