William Aiken House

Magnolia Plantation & Gardens

Magnolia Plantation was founded in 1676 by the Drayton family, and has survived the centuries and witnessed the history of our nation unfold before it from the American Revolution through the Civil War and beyond. They offer four unique locations each with a different view that is full with breathtaking views surrounded by live Oak Trees, the Ashley River, sweeping lawns and manicured gardens.

Legare-Waring House

Legare-Waring House is steeped in history, this beautiful property is located in the heart of Charles Towne Landing, the site of the first permanent European settlement in the Carolinas. Ferdinanda Izlar Legare Backer Waring transformed the raw natural landscape into one of Charleston’s best-loved suburban gardens.

Harborside East

Harborside East is a water front venue located at the foot of the Arthur Ravenel Bridge. Their are four unique waterfront options for your ceremony. This venue offers a uniquely decorated elegant interior, along with outdoor space that include a partially covered patio but you have an option to tent the entire patio.

Lowndes Grove Plantation

Between the historic white plantation home overlooking the Ashley River, and the expansive lawn and gardens that are perfect for a ceremony, Lowndes Grove Plantation provides the backdrop for a classic, romantic Southern wedding. The house showcases 1786-era architecture with period furnishings, an expansive piazza, grand lawn and sunlit terraces made of bluestone, brick and oyster tabby.

The Rice Mill

The Rice Mill provides breathtaking waterfront views, historic property, and a well planned space, all tied together with perfect food and beverage options to create your dream wedding. The ground floor has classic design features include exposed brick, wide plank wood floors, large double windows, and pressed tin ceilings. The beautiful mahogany and marble bar is well suited for entertaining, while the adjacent dance floor area naturally lends itself to live music and dancing.

Creek Club at I'On

With its waterfront location and unforgettable views, the Creek Club at I'On is a picturesque venue with over 5,000 square feet of space including wide, beautiful porches. The large lawn overlooking the creek and marsh is perfect for outdoor ceremonies or oyster roasts with a view. Beautifully landscaped with native foliage including live oaks, palms, and azaleas, the gardens are a sight to behold year-round.

Middleton Place

The outdoor venues at historic Middleton Place provide ideal wedding ceremony locations. The beautiful Middleton Oak, which is estimated to be more than 900 years old, and with the Ashley River in the background, the natural beauty of the ancient oak contrasts with the manicured gardens to offer a site of uncommon magnificence.

The Secret Gardens provide a more formal venue. Consisting of two separate gardens, the smaller of the two offers an intimate outdoor setting delineated by carefully groomed hedges.

Cottage on the Creek

A sprawling deck & gazebo with views of classic shrimp boats add a Lowcountry flavor to this unique location. Cottage on the Creek is a multi-level venue located on Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant, SC. With a waterfront deck, tent, & gazebo, spacious interior, and rooftop deck, the Cottage offers breathtaking views of Shem Creek & the Charleston Harbor.

The Cedar Room

The Cedar Room is an open and airy space, featuring historic wood columns, hardwood floors from the original space and rustic elements of the circa 1880 building. The Cedar Room is located in the Cigar Factory on East Bay Street in Downtown Charleston.

Thomas Bennett House

The Thomas Bennett House is full of architectural importance, and with a free-flying staircase that is only one of two in the entire city. The gracious interior of the house is extended and enhanced by a spacious piazza overlooking the garden. The garden is one of the most beautiful traditional gardens in Charleston, with a large brick courtyard and fountain, it is the perfect setting for distinctive and elegant functions.

Boone Hall Plantation

Boone Hall Plantation was founded in 1681 when Englishman Major John Boone came to Charleston and established a lucrative plantation and gracious home on the banks of Wampacheone Creek. This plantation is one of America's oldest working, living plantations.

Wingate Plantation

Wingate Plantation represents the largest, undeveloped, intact parcel of the original plantation. The farmhouse on the property dates back to the 1930’s, when it was constructed by the Jenkins family. During the twentieth century, vegetables and small grains were produced on Wingate Plantation. Currently, the plantation is managed for timber and wildlife.

Old Wide Awake Plantation

Old Wide Awake is characterized by many rolling fields, wooded timbers, and wild flowers and embodes all the character and charm of the past. The main building, once part of a turn-of-the-century general store for the Stono Ferry, sits on an expansive property near the Stono River, inviting guests to enjoy a relaxing afternoon or evening in this quiet  country haven.

Charleston Tea Plantation

The Charleston Tea Plantation offers a unique and captivating backdrop for any special event. The Gadsden House

Circa 1798, the Gadsden House is a grand Federal style Charleston manor, listed on the National Historic Register and celebrated as one of the top 10 historic properties to save and restore in Charleston. The house saw decline in the mid 20th century, as did much of the historic Ansonborough neighborhood it is located within, but was saved from demolition in 1959 by the Historic Charleston Foundation as their first step in revitalizing the area. The final step in fully restoring the historic landmark is currently underway as part of a collaborative effort by Luxury Simplified Construction in partnership with the Historic Charleston Foundation.

Daniel Island Club

At the Daniel Island Club every wedding is considered a custom, one-of-a-kind affair. From large, traditional weddings to small, intimate occasions, the experienced club staff will coordinate all of the details and ensure that each wedding is personal and unique. The stunning marsh views at the clubhouse provide an excellent backdrop for any size ceremony, and the elegant bridal room is ideal for on-site weddings. This venue has a spacious ballroom, which can seat 300 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 500 for a reception-style event.
