Where were you born?  "Spartanburg, SC"

Why Charleston? "I've been visiting charleston my whole life so when I found out I could go to school where I vacation, there was no other options for me. I love the city feel charleston has, but also how relaxed and homey it is."

Major/Minor? "Hospitality and Tourism Management with a Communications minor at The College of Charleston"

What's your favorite food? "Bacon cheese fries, or cake, or cookies, or chick fil a... I really like food."

Tell us something we don't know about you! "I wanted to be a Rockette when I was younger and I even participated in their summer camp in New York!"

How do you spend your free time?  "Walking around charleston with my dog Hadley."

Why did you choose the wedding planning industry for an internship? "I knew I wanted to be somewhere in the event planning industry and I've always loved everything about weddings (thank you Say Yes to the Dress and Four Weddings), so when I decided to start applying for internships, weddings were the first thing I looked at. There's nothing more exciting than seeing a happy bride on her wedding day!"

What are you most excited about this event season? "I'm excited to learn the whole process of planning a wedding and to get to see all the beautiful venues Charleston has to offer."

We are thrilled to also have Kate, who you may remember from this past spring, with us again this fall as our senior intern!
