Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Jackie + Branson

You are in for a treat today! Jackie + Branson had a gorgeous Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding with tons of pretty details! The couple met while attending law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and later moved to Atlanta together after dating long distance. The bride loved the little details so for starters, there was a white top tent with blush draping and crystal chandeliers, of course! White and peach hued florals by Branch Design Studio, gold chivari chairs, glass chargers, and plenty of candlelight. For place cards, the guests found their seat by a mint colored macaroon with a gold sparkly flag noting the guests name, perfect after dinner sweet! A delicious dinner was served by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group along with a delicious cake gold brushed cake for dessert. Underneath the big Oak was the half moon bar, with the bride + groom's gold leaf monogram and a chandelier overhead, one of our favorite details of the big day! You can also find their monogram carried throughout the reception on their napkins, favors, menu's and more! After dinner, it was time to dance the night away with Quiana Parler and Friends and end the night with a sparkler departure! You can find this wedding recently featured in Southern Bride Magazine. See all the pretty captured by Aaron and Jillian Photography here!

Wingate Plantation Elopement: Lindsey + Brandon

We absolutely love styling a sweet intimate elopement for a bride + groom. For couples who love swooning over detailed photos, a styled elopement is the way to go! This gorgeous elopement for Lindsey + Brandon took place at Wingate Plantation in Johns Island, and it was all about the little details! The wonderful Aaron + Jillian photography captured all of the pretty of Lindsay getting ready, from her beautiful lace BHLDN dress to her maroon colored MRS.BOX. The day started out with a bit of rain, and Lindsey used this to her advantage by getting to take adorable photos in her bright red Hunter rainboots. After the first look, these two lovebirds said their vows underneath a sparkling chandelier hanging from an old oak tree. Once the ceremony was over, it was photo time! The bride + groom toasted their new marriage on a hot pink loveseat from 428 Main. They held a sign that said "Surprise" to send out to family + friends. The cake was all gold with a bright red bloom that complemented Lindsey's bouquet. After moving around the plantation for some picture perfect sunset photos, the bride + groom were ready to say goodbye. They finished the perfect day with some photos under a shower of gold confetti. We watched as the new Mr. & Mrs. headed off to enjoy their first meal together as husband and wife.  Congratulations to Lindsey + Brandon!

Cottage on the Creek Wedding: Heather + Michael

Heather + Michael shared a stunning Cottage on the Creek Wedding on a beautiful day in September. Vibrant florals and personal details allowed the rustic ambiance of the Cottage to pop! Branch Design Studio made sure to reflect Heather's bubbly and bright personality in all of the florals. Eyes were drawn to her colorful bouquet filled with watermelon ripple garden roses, hot pink parrot tulips, coral ranunculus, and peach Juliet garden roses. Heather's father had officiated all of the weddings for his children, and Heather was no exception. They shared a sweet moment as he walked her down the aisle and began the ceremony. The bride + groom stood on a elegant handmade rug that was gifted to Heather by her best friend. The ceremony alter was softened by ivory fabric covering the shrimp boats, and tall galvanized buckets overflowing with coral spray roses, queen anne's lace, and coral ball dahlias. Once the couple said "I Do", guests enjoyed small bites and cold drinks overlooking Shem Creek. The bar was located underneath the stunning white gazebo which was adorned with a sparkling chandelier. After catching up with family and friends, guests moved inside to enjoy a plated dinner. The bright colors and arrangements on the tabletops were breathtaking. Long pieces of loose driftwood branches accompanied these florals on various tabletops. Heather placed a bag of Charleston shrimp and grit mix on each place setting for the guests to take home and enjoy a small piece of Charleston. After dinner, guests put on their dancing shoes and enjoyed the sunset overlooking Shem Creek. We loved working with Heather & Michael, and wish them everlasting happiness!

William Aiken House Wedding: Megan + Keith

Megan + Keith's William Aiken House wedding  was nothing short of fabulous! The venue was the perfect setting for this white, black, and gold affair captured by Evan Laettner! Gold dipped roses, white modern lounge sets, black chandeliers, and metallic linens...need we say more!? Megan's bridesmaids looked stunning in their head to tow gold glitter Badgley Mischka gowns. One of our favorite details of the day were the place cards, gold horses labeled with guests names to help find their seat. You can never have too much gold in our opinion and this wedding did it just right!

Middleton Place Wedding: Traci + Alex

This Middleton Place Wedding could not have been a more beautiful fall day for Traci + Alex. The clouds cleared just as the ceremony began at the Middleton Oak. This Oak was incredibly special to the couple because it was the same Oak where Alex popped the question! After a heartwarming ceremony, the guests made their way over to the Crane Pool for cocktail hour.  A horse drawn carriage brought guests over to the pavilion for an intimate seated dinner. The space was softened by a ceiling of ivory drape and lanterns that hung above the guests as they ate dinner. The navy tabletop was the perfect accent for the gorgeous floral centerpieces that stole the show! The lush florals were filled with hues of rust, burgundy, and deep orange to reflect the fall season.  Traci's guests loved sitting in the wicker lounge area by the dance floor. They could rest their feet while still being in the center of the action. The unique cakes provided by Jim Smeal were exactly what the couple had envisioned! Alex had a special cake of his own that was designed to look like a hobbit house! Traci + Alex were such a wonderful couple to work with, and we are so happy that we could take part in their big day!

Middleton Place Wedding: Helen + Aaron

Helen + Aaron's romantic glam Middleton Place wedding was absolutely stunning! The day began with excitement as Helen and her bridesmaids got their hair + makeup done at the Francis Marion Hotel while Aaron and his groomsmen suited up for the big day on Daniel Island. Then, the wedding party all met at Middleton Place for the bride + groom's highly anticipated first look! Aaron was awestruck when he laid eyes on his beautiful bride for the very first time, and the entire wedding party had so much fun photographing on Middleton's gorgeous, lush grounds pre-ceremony. After the signing of the Ketubah and a toast to the soon-to-be Mr. + Mrs., it was time to tie the knot! Luckily, the rain came to a stop just in time for the Helen + Aaron's nuptials in the picturesque Octagonal Gardens. Standing beneath a custom-built huppa by Wild Flowers Inc., the bride + groom said "I do." In traditional Jewish fashion, Aaron smashed the glass and the guests yelled "Mazeltov!" as the new Mr. + Mrs. happily walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. Helen + Aaron departed the ceremony via carriage ride to arrive for cocktail hour at the pavilion where they sipped and mingled with guests before it was time to be announced into the reception! Mr. + Mrs. Aaron and Helen Bernie were announced onto the dance floor to the sounds of "Sweet Home Alabama" before sharing their first dance to "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by Sleeping at Last. Lyrics from this song were incorporated into wedding details such as lounge pillows and custom frames that displayed sweet sayings for the couple. Guests enjoyed a stationed meal by Cru Catering, a special hookah area by Tabbuli, and vintage lounge furniture by Snyder. Shades of blush and ivory gave the pavilion a soft ambiance, while the tent outside had an elegant feel complete with platinum drape by Pure Luxe Bride, silver chivari chairs, and a white plantation bar, complete with a custom light-up bar sign. This design was beautiful, and perfect for the occasion! Guests then enjoyed a dessert bar and dancing, including a very special dance to "HORA", where all of Helen +Aaron's family got up into the chair! As the last song of the night approached, everyone got out onto the dance floor for Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" before Mr. + Mrs. Bernie departed through a sparkler archway to their downtown after party! Wishing Helen + Aaron all the best and a big thank you to Trent Bailey for capturing this gorgeous celebration!

Historic Rice Mill Wedding: Shayna + Joshua

Shayna + Joshua's Historic Rice Mill Wedding was certainly a night to remember! This sweet couple traveled from Washington, D.C. to downtown Charleston to say "I do" at the Historic Rice Mill in front of their close friends and family. The day began with hair and makeup by Beauty Asylum for Shayna and her bridesmaids, while Joshua and his buds suited up pre-nuptials. Everyone then met at the Historic Rice Mill, but Shayna was kept hidden from her soon-t0-be husband until the ceremony began. The ceremony took place outside with the Historic Rice Mill as the backdrop. Joshua's mouth dropped wide open when he saw his beautiful bride walk down the aisle. Joshua's father officiated the ceremony and it ended with a dip and a kiss by Joshua that was later painted by Wed on Canvas for the newlyweds to hang and cherish forever! Post ceremony, it was time for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres inside. The color scheme was ivory and navy with sparkly silver accents and special touches by the bride + groom that incorporated their love of wine, such as table markers and different bottles of wine for each table! The table scape was complete with silver chivari chairs and a traditional Southern grits favor for each guest to take home. Their lounge was set up outside on the dock with white leather couches, elegant crystal chandeliers, tall cocktail tables with sequined linens, and silver accent pillows to finish off the look. Guests loved the decor, and the cuisine as well! During the plated dinner, Shayna's father gave a heartfelt speech, thanking friends and family for traveling to Charleston, and sharing stories about the bride + groom's whirlwind romance! After dinner, it was time to cut the cake and dance. Stephen Darby kept the guests on their feet all night and played some crowd favorites, such as Beyonce's "Drunk in Love," while guests enjoyed light-up accessories to use on the dance floor! As this memorable night came to a close, Shayna + Joshua were sent on their way through a sparkler archway into a white Rolls Royce onto their after-party at Trio Downtown. Wishing these newlyweds love and happiness for many years to come!

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Stephanie + Chad

Stephanie + Chad's classic  Lowndes Grove Plantation wedding couldn't have been more perfect! These out-of-owners traveled from North Carolina to have their dream wedding in Charleston at the picturesque Lowndes Grove Plantation. Stephanie looked breathtaking in her Modern Trousseau gown as she walked down the aisle of St.Lukes chapel with her father to "Rondeau" by Mouret. Her lush bouquet was full of white peonies and white ranunculus with accents of dusty miller, lavender sweet peas, white fringe tulips, white patience garden roses, and more!  As guests began to arrive at Lowndes Grove for the reception, Stephanie + Chad warmly welcomed them into the house for cocktail hour while guests enjoyed delicious sips and bites. The clear tent was gracefully draped in ivory with chandeliers glistening from the top.  At each place setting, guests found their names written in gold calligraphy on Magnolia leaves with sprigs of rosemary, olive, and lavender accenting each napkin. Long table garlands full of magnolia leaves, olive branch, and seeded eucalyptus filled the tables, with colorful pops of white fringe tulips, white ranunculus, and lavender sweet peas. Gold silverware, gold rimmed glasses, and custom menus by Silver Starfish completed this elegant table setting.  Guests enjoyed a delicious 3 course plated dinner while the sounds of big band music by Joe Clarke Big Band flooded the tent.  This fantastic night had to come to an end, but not before guests enjoyed a variety of mini desserts and one more song by the band before departing in the vintage Rolls Royce!  Thanks so much to Aaron and Jillian for capturing all this pretty and best wishes to the sweetest couple, Stephanie + Chad!

William Aiken House Wedding: Erin + Gibb

We are still swooning over Erin + Gibb's glam wedding at the William Aiken House! These South Carolina natives chose downtown Charleston to host their dream wedding, and it was truly a day to remember. After getting ready at IOP, The couple met at William Aiken House for their first look where Gibb could not take his eyes off of Erin! As guests began to arrive for the ceremony, the wedding party was tucked away for last minute laughs and sips before Erin's father walked her down the aisle to the sounds of Seth G playing "A Thousand Years". Erin's lush bouquet by Branch was full of white patience garden roses, blush Japanese ranunculus, white sweet peas, jasmine vine, all tied together with an ivory ribbon. Cocktail hour began shortly post-ceremony with drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres of pear & almond brie, duck confit, bacon wrapped scallops, and tuna tartar.  Happy tears then filled the room when Erin and her father danced to "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw, and Gibb and his mother to "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. Following dances, stations were open and ready for guests to enjoy!  Guests tables were decorated with tall, fluted glass vases full of lush white larkspur, stemmed candleholders with floating candles, and textural gold mercury glass. After guests enjoyed dinner, it was time to cut the cake, drink champagne, and dance! This red velvet and lemon cake was in beautiful shades of pink, gold, and ivory, tying in the wedding colors. Then, it was time to dance Quiana Parler's and friends! Special details included custom pink and taupe cozies for drinks, a wedding piñata guest book, "Drunk on Love" cocktail napkins with gold foilg,  and light-up sunglasses and glow sticks for late night! The couple was then sent off via rickshaw through a sparkler departure into downtown Charleston!

Magnolia Plantation Wedding: Elizabeth + Randy

Elizabeth + Randy, a fun-loving couple from Virginia, chose The Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation for their big day! This Magnolia Plantation wedding was romantic chic with rustic and elegant vibes, plus shades of ivory, nude, blush, and pops of coral, blush pink, and natural greens. Elizabeth, or "Cricket" as her family + friends lovingly call her, started the day off with hair by Elesyium and makeup by Bellelina. Elizabeth was a vision with a Queen Anne's lace flower crown and bouquet by WildFlowers that was brimming with peonies, hydrangeas, garden roses, ranunculus, astilbe, lisianthus, sweet pea, roses, and touches of Queen Anne's lace. Randy wore a white ranunculus boutonniere with a tuft of greenery and tied with an ivory ribbon to accent Elizabeth's bouquet. The nuptials took place on the oyster tabby under a clear tent to shield from the rainy day showers. And who says rain is bad luck on your wedding day? Randall's mouth dropped wide open when he first laid eyes on his elegant, stunning bride. Guests enjoyed drinks and mingling during cocktail hour until the bridal party and groomsmen were introduced into the reception. The bride + groom excitedly made their way in as "Mr. & Mrs. Randall Holmes" and immediately went into their first dance to "Once in a Lifetime" by Landon Austin. Guests were blown away by the reception design that included long and circular tables covered in ivory linens, custom dinner menus in gold font, ample candlelight in rustic gold votives, and tall floral arrangements in clear glass vases with smaller, scattered bud vases and clear glass cubes that all held the wedding florals. Chandeliers were covered with Queen Anne's lace and lush greenery, making for an eye-catching detail that we loved! Pure Luxe Bride softened up the space with ivory drape tiebacks from the ceiling and custom drape for the head table to complete this romantic design. Guests also admired the bride + groom's personal touches, such as the memory tables that Elizabeth + Randall put together with photos of their parents and grandparents, and an extra special piece with a vintage wedding veil from the mother of the bride. Their memory tables were a sentimental way to honor their loved ones who couldn't be there on their big day. Everyone was then treated to a delicious stationed meal by Good Food Catering that consisted of petit grilled lamb chops over cavatappi mac & cheese, grilled asparagus with prosciutto, and more! Post-dinner, wedding cake and s'mores were served while everyone got out on the dance floor to the sounds of DJ Rob Duren! The night ended as everyone danced to "Do You Love Me" by Contours and wished the newlyweds on their merry way! Wishing Elizabeth + Randall joy and happiness, and remembering this beautiful wedding!
