Magnolia Plantation Carriage House: Lauren + Andrew

There are so many details about this day that we absolutely adored. Lauren and Andrew are the sweetest couple, who are so head over heels in love with each other. The weather was just perfect! The sunshine and soft breeze from the Ashley River at the Magnolia Plantation Carriage House really set the day off to a beautiful start. Lauren and her bridesmaids enjoyed a relaxed brunch together before slipping into their stunning gold sparkly dresses. Lauren's sweetheart dress was accompanied by the most beautiful cathedral veil passed down from her mom. The bridesmaids wore glamorous gold sequined Badgley Mischka dresses that sparkled so beautifully in the sun (you know we LOVE anything that glitters!) Andrew and his groomsmen wore black Vera Wang tuxes with fun matching socks! Lauren and Andrew said "I Do" in a romantic ceremony by the river front. After, guests mingled during cocktail hour outdoors under cafe lighting with beverages and hors d'oeuvres provided by Squeeze on-site and Salthouse Catering. Lauren selected gorgeous sequined linens, a beautiful white for their head table and stunning rose-gold sequined linens for the cocktail tables. Wild Flowers Inc. created magnificent floral arrangements full of hydrangeas, roses and ranunculus in shades of ivories, whites and blush. One of our favorite details was the sparkling gold champagne bottles that doubled as place settings and favors! Emotional toasts were made by Lauren's Father, her Maid of Honor and Andrew's brother. Guests enjoyed great music from Darby Events and lots of fun and dancing! The beautiful wedding cake and other sweet treats were provided by Twenty Six Divine

Magnolia Plantation Wedding: Kim + Scott

As Kim + Scott's guests arrived to Magnolia Plantation Carriage House, they were welcomed by some of the couple's favorite songs like "Steal My Kisses" by Ben Harper and "Grow Old With Me" by Adam Sandler. Right before the bride walked down the aisle, two and a half year old Ethan beared the rings down the aisle in the most adorable tuxedo and executed his job perfectly. A stunning Kim was escorted by her father down the aisle to "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel, and was greeted at the alter by her beaming groom. The couple exchanged vows and sealed them with a kiss! As the newlyweds walked down the aisle as husband and wife, guests tossed lavender into the air for a one of a kind exit.

Cocktail hour began and guests enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres and a specialty, Southern cocktail made with Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka and lemonade named the "Charleston Palmer". Guests lounged in mix-matched vintage pieces provided by 428 Main that were placed around the dance floor for a laid back atmosphere. The escort cards were handmade tree wood name cards. These wood escort cards were made from trees native to South Carolina - how cool! As guests grabbed their escort cards, they replaced them with a Polaroid photo of themselves to hang on the boards in place of their name card. One photo to keep for themselves and one for the newlyweds to treasure!

Guests entered into the rustic reception with hints of yellows and greens radiating throughout the carriage house.  Guests were welcomed, a blessing was given and dinner was served! The Lowcountry Slider Station offered pulled pork barbecue, fried green tomatoes, fried chicken and mini waffles with all the fixin's! The Southern Comfort Station had mini meat loaf bites and a vegetable succotash. Lastly, the Grits Station offered build-your-own grits! Shrimp, sausage, bacon, cheese and more were used to top the delicious stone ground, cream grits.

After dinner, Kim + Scott bounced back and forth between the dance floor and their guests - never without smiles spread across their faces. Later in the reception, the cake was cut and King of Pops arrived to hand out their oh so delicious ice pops! Engraved forks atop WildFlour Pastry's cinnamon buns were the wedding favors: a perfect late night snack or breakfast for the next morning! Kim + Scott enjoyed one final dance alone before their sparkler exit amongst their closest family and friends.

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Amanda + Rod

The chance of rain wasn't stopping Amanda + Rod from having a beautiful day! As the bride and groom got ready for their special day in Isle of Palms, Pure Luxe Bride was hard at work at Lowndes Grove Plantation on the peninsula with a gorgeous draping installation for their tent!

The bride and groom chose to exchange their vows at St. John's Lutheran Church, off the beaten path nearby the downtown market. As guests arrived to the church, the bridal party was hidden before beginning what was a beautiful ceremony. Both mothers processed to "Clair de Lune", followed by the bridal party to "Canon in D". The officiant, groom and best man entered first, followed by the Jr. Bridesmaids, the bridesmaids escorted by the groomsmen, and of course, the two adorable ring bearer's. Amanda and her father were greeted by "The Prince of Denmark's March", as they themselves marched down the aisle.

Cocktail hour began at 6pm, where guests were invited to enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the plantation home. Amanda + Rod's sweet puppy arrived, groomed and fluffy, to snap a few photos with the couple on their special day. "Dr. + Mrs. Romero" were announced into their reception and enjoyed their first dance to Edwin McCain's, "I'll Be". Amanda then shared a dance with her father and  Rod with his mother.

After the station-style dinner, Amanda + Rod cut their beautifully designed cake, adorned with flowers and detailed piping to match the lace on Amanda's dress. They had so much fun with the bouquet and garter tosses and danced the rest of the night away with their guests! Amanda + Rod chose "God Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton to be played as the last song of the night, before their sparkler departure!

Southern Sparkle Styled Shoot with Lowcountry Wedding

We have been patiently waiting to be able to share this fabulous styled shoot with you! This past summer we teamed up with some of our favorite vendors and Lowcountry Wedding Blog to bring you a true Pure Luxe Bride original. When we were approached to be a part of the shoot we were given a bracelet that was pink and navy tied in a sailor knot with an anchor clasp to incorporate into the inspiration. We turned this piece of jewelry into our inspiration for the theme: Nautical Meets Kate Spade (with lots of sparkle!).
