Magnolia Carriage House Wedding: Natalie + Tim

The Magnolia Carriage House was the perfect location for Natalie + Tim's  intimate celebration! The couple first met each other here in the Holy City while Natalie was studying at the College of Charleston and Tim was studying abroad here at The Citadel. They invited fifty of their closest friends and family to witness their "I Do's" under one of Magnolia's many oak trees with the sun peaking through for a beautiful ceremony setting.  Each bridesmaid was uniquely dressed in different colored dresses that coordinated with the color palette of the wedding, Natalie was not afraid of color! The tables were set with garland table runners and pops of flowers, fabulous gold chargers and raspberry napkins. The cake design was inspired by the bold pattern on the La Tavola linens in a soft yellow. Guests enjoyed delicious bites by Salthouse catering and danced the night away! We wish Natalie + Tim the best as they start their married life in Germany!

Harborside East Wedding: Sarah + Mike

Each detail at Sarah + Mike's Harborside East Wedding contributed to making the evening such an exciting celebration!  The happy couple said "I do" under a simple yet stunning floral arbor backdrop decorated by Branch.  A glamorous gold mirrored seating chart led guests to their seats, where they found their names written on mussel shells in gold calligraphy.  Guests helped themselves to Mosaic's delicious hors d oeuvres and stations that satisfied each guest's palate.  There was a southern comfort, flatbread, and slider station - all which were a huge hit!  Dinner was topped off by a mouth watering red velvet and vanilla tiered cake from Sablee.  Guests enjoyed the rest of the night dancing to the musical talents of DJ Wade, who had just as much fun as the crowd!  Sarah + Mike were showered with love by all of their friends and family, which made the showers happening outside insignificant to the couple and their guests.  Charleston Style Limo shuttled guests from the venue to the hotel as the night drew to an end.  Best wishes to the newlyweds!

Legare-Waring House Wedding: Liz + Kenny

Liz + Kenny's Legare-Waring House wedding was a detailed dream come true for these two LA love birds. Liz and Kenny met via mutual friends in 2011, on the same day her school, UNC, defeated his alma mater, UW, in a heartbreaker game during the March Madness Basketball Tournament. Luckily, she was able to mend his heart over cheap Chinese food and they’ve been together ever since. As a contributor to multiple wedding magazines, Liz had seen it all. She wanted a wedding that truly stood out from the crowd, and wowed her LA guests. Liz loved the idea of a bright and colorful wedding inspired by vibrant fall hues that accented the gorgeous property of the historical Legare Waring House. She had a clear vision for a whimsical wedding with beautiful wildflowers accented with watercolors. Wildflowers ran the lengths of the tables and tall pillar candles were scattered throughout to create a beautiful glow. Everyone could tell where the bride + groom were sitting, with vintage green arm chairs from 428 Main, gold chargers, and floral napkins saving their seats.   As the ceremony began, guests were able to see the stunning bridesmaids in their mismatched neutral gowns that complemented each maid perfectly. Of course, we can't forget the boys! Navy suits made a huge impact against all of the greenery and Kenny stood out with his unique Charleston favorite-Brackish bow tie. All heads turned, as Liz began down the aisle in her Jenny Packham dress. Her father walked with her down the colorfully petaled aisle, and she met Kenny underneath an arbor of wildflowers. After this sweet couple read their vows and did the traditional Jewish breaking of the glass, it was time to celebrate! Liz + Kenny met their other true love at the end of the aisle for some pictures, and their dog Whiskey, could not have been more excited for his parents.  Guests enjoyed small bites and cool cocktails with floral printed straws during this beautiful October night. After everyone had said a few sweet words, it was time for these guests to get a taste of some southern cooking. Salthouse catering provided a delicious station of country fried chicken and mac & cheese. For those foodies in the group, guests also enjoyed grilled fish tacos and a gorgeous best of season display. Liz added a special detail by getting her bar signs, station signs, and hashtag signs hand calligraphied on water color printed paper to match her invitation suite. Once dancing began, Liz changed from her simple flower crown into her "party crown."  Big and bold blooms let the crowd know that it was time to put on their dancing shoes!  Of course the night wouldn't have been complete without celebrating the tradition of the Jewish hoorah! Liz + Kenny departed with their guests to keep the party going in downtown Charleston!

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Kiera + Brian

Kiera + Brian's Lowndes Grove Plantation wedding was an elegant day to remember! The day began with hair and makeup for Kiera and her bridesmaids in the Lowndes Grove Suite, while Brian and his groomsmen got ready at the French Quarter Inn. Both of these stunning locations made the perfect backdrop for getting ready photos. It's so special to capture the hours leading up to the ceremony! Kiera + Brian opted out of a first look and said "I do" at Saint Luke's Chapel. Kiera looked classic in a beautifully beaded Monique Lhuillier gown. As Kiera walked down the aisle to her handsome groom, she carried a spilling, textural bouquet of peach juliet garden roses, pink maria teresa garden roses, peach tree peonies, cafe au last dahlias, coral peach ranunculus, and more lush blooms. When Brian saw Kiera for the first time, he couldn't contain his excitement. The two said their vows with Brian's father as the officiant. As the newlyweds happily exited, guests made their way to Lowndes Grove Plantation for the reception! The tent was beautifully decorated with long ivory linened tables, mahogany chivari chairs, vintage China, majestic light blue napkins, and gorgeous pops of orange, coral pink, and pink ranunculus in thin clear glass bud vases. The cake was a beautiful shade of light blue with textured detail and vibrant pink maria teresa garden roses and majolica spray roses. The couple had specialty engraved cake forks that read "I do" and "Me too". Extra details we loved were the bride's custom Instagram signs with rose gold frames and place cards attached to vintage keys that doubled as bottle openers! Guests were treated to a plated dinner and a night of lively dancing to the sounds of Stephen Darby. Before the reception came to a close, Kiera + Brian departed under a sparkler archway into their vintage Rolls Royce getaway car. We adored this elegant, vintage design with shades of light blue and pops of vibrant blooms. Wishing this New York couple years of happiness to come!

Thomas Bennett House Wedding: Andria + Matt

Andria + Matt came from Ohio to have their Thomas Bennett House Wedding in Charleston, SC. The brides design inspiration came from the colors of a peacock, and the love for all things emerald. It was the most beautiful fall October day, with dining al fresco, a delicious meal served by Salthouse Catering, followed by sweets by Gala Desserts. The bouquet by Branch Design Studio was full of white calla lilies, peacock feathers, and greenery. Clusters of hydrangeas, tulips, and garden roses filled the tables with a of gold and candlelight. Sparkly linens, lounge under a gorgeous chandelier, and a DIY photobooth are just a few of the fun details! The bride and groom and their guests rode off in a rickshaw at the end of the night to continue the party!

Magnolia Plantation Wedding: Anita + Shawn

Anita and Shawn came all the way from New Jersey to have their destination wedding at Magnolia Plantation Carriage House. This couple traveled the world together, got engaged in Africa, and decided to say their "I Do's" in Charleston, SC. Their ceremony was held in front of the oak tree overlooking the Ashley river. PEW's provided vintage church pews for their guests seating with picture frames lining the aisle of the bride + groom as babies growing into their adult life. The bridesmaids looked stylish in their floral printed dressed with astilbe bouquets, we love the print in their outfits! The Carriage House was draped in soft ivory accented with pearls for a feminine touch. Bright blooms filled the table tops in hues of blush, mint, peach, and turquoise. Wooden centerpieces were filled with ranunculus,  hydrangeas, peach lisianthus, coral ranunculus and mint succulents. Mosaic Catering provided delicious eats and fun specialty cocktails for cocktail hour and the reception! The Little White Box, a 1974 Vintage Volkswagen bus, is a traveling photobooth that arrived later in the night for guests to enjoy! Middleton Place Wedding: Caroline + Rob

This couple came all the way from England to Charleston for their Middleton Place wedding joined by family and friends. We transformed the pavilion with soft romantic hues, mini gold chandeliers, blush draping, and a gorgeous cake creating the elegant space they dreamed of. The brides bouquet was full of dahlias, lisianthus, roses, peonies and a trailing gold ribbon. The couple said their vows at the octagonal gardens, and then moved to the crane pool to enjoy delicious southern h'ordeuvres including Shepards pie, a British staple! After cocktail hour, guests moved inside the pavilion as the couple shared their first dance as husband and wife preformed acoustically by a close friend. Tasteful stations were provided by Cru catering and pralines were treated to guests as their favor and late night sweet! It was the perfect day for Caroline + Rob, thank you for letting us be a part of it!

Boone Hall Wedding at The Cotton Dock: Megan + Blake

We still can't get enough of Megan + Blake's rustic chic Boone Hall Wedding at the Cotton Dock! This wedding was full of thoughtful details that made for a beautiful night to remember! The day began with hair and makeup for Megan and the girls by Paper Dolls on Isle of Palms, while Blake and the boys suited up at Wild Dunes. Everyone met at Boone Hall Plantation for the bride + groom's long-awaited first look! With the combination of this couple's style + the natural beauty of the plantation grounds, these pictures came out utterly perfect. When it came time for the ceremony, dark skies were on the horizon, but Pure Luxe Bride quickly rocked the rain plan and held a standing ceremony for guests on the dock under the overhang. Wine barrel cocktail tables served as impromptu aisle markers and the lounge furniture was used to seat the immediate family of the bride + groom. The bride was a vision of elegance as she walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of "Something in the Way She Moves" by James Taylor. Her organic bouquet by Branch was blooming with white astilbe, white ranunculus, white sweet peas, dusty miller leaves, Queen Anne's lace, pale yellow poppies, soft blush ranunculus, and more, tied together with an ivory lace ribbon. Megan also wore a flower crown with loose stems of baby's breath, spirea, and white majolica spray roses. Post-nuptials, cocktail hour kicked off with the wedding's signature drink, local Firefly sweet tea vodka + lemonade in a mason jar, and passed hors d'oeuvres by Cru Catering. Guests then made their way to their seats at dark-wood farm tables decorated with white lace runners, wooden boxes filled with a spilling arrangement of soft yellow ranunculus, white lilac, apricot parrot tulips, and more, vintage blue mason jars filled with candles, and milk glass bud vases with peachy blush sweet peas. Vintage books with hand-painted gold numbers served as the table markers and mahogany stained wooden wine crates filled with sheet moss and queen annes lace housed the guest's place cards. A mouth-watering plated dinner was served to guests while Megan's matron of honor gave a heartfelt speech to the newlyweds. After dinner, it was time to cut the three-tiered cake by Sablee made up of champagne cake with wild strawberry and champagne filling, coconut cake with coconut cream filling, and vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling. Guests enjoyed cake and mingling while dancing to the sounds of Epic Charleston all night long! A few of our other favorite details from this elegant reception included the chandelier above the dance floor covered in a lush, organic arrangement of flowers and the vintage, distressed mirrors hanging on one of the back walls. As the night came to an end, the new Mr. + Mrs. danced to "Is This Love" by Bob Marley before happily departing through a sparkler archway! Thanks so much to Hyer Images for capturing this gorgeous wedding!

Magnolia Plantation Wedding: Tori + Ryan

An elegant simplicity was emitted all around Magnolia Plantation wedding of Tori+Ryan. The lingering rain in the morning gave the day a nice cool breeze making the July heat bearable. You could see the love these two shared by the way they looked at one another. Happy tears came from the grooms eyes as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time walking down the aisle. This wedding was filled with details galore! Personalized matches, water bottles, koozies, and sunglasses made the perfect touch.  The bridesmaids were dressed in a mixed array of lovely navy dresses accompanied with DIY bouquets made by one of the bridesmaids. The bridal party entered into the reception space with their sunglasses on ready to party. Shrimp and grits, Pork Loin, and a Mac and Cheese bar were a huge hit with the guests! This crowd couldn't wait to get out on the dance floor, and Charleston Grove Factory helped them shake it all night long!

Creek Club at I'on Wedding: Caitlin + Chris

Caitlin + Chris had a beautiful romantic wedding at the Creek Club this summer! Their first look captured by Jennifer Bearden Photography seriously has us swooning! Their creek side ceremony overlooking the water provided a beautiful backdrop for their vows to take place.  Guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the wrap around porch with rocking chairs and lounge for guests to relax and enjoy the waterside view. The bride + groom incorporated southern charm into their wedding including their new monogram hanging over the fireplace and a gorgeous drape adding a soft touch to the room.  Other cute details were the adorable escort cards, custom cocktail napkins, and pink peony florals to top it all off!
