Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Haley + Jeff

Haley + Jeff had a beautiful Lowndes Grove Plantation wedding. Haley was a true Pure Luxe Bride, incorporating sparkle into her wedding any chance she had. Her tent shimmered with blush pink and accents of silver. The poles were disguised in a soft pink drape, and glittering linens covered the cocktail tables. The floral combinations from Branch caught the attention of all the guests with a combination of white hydrangeas, silver dollar eucalyptus, roses, and dusty miller in a mercury glass vase stole the show. The bride carried a bouquet of white O'Hara garden roses and peonies tied with a ribbon to match her gown. She looked stunning in her uniquely beaded dress with a low cut back and bold red lips. Following the ceremony, a pink champagne tower provided by Polished awaited the guests for cocktail hour. This wedding had a ladies and gents tents set up on either side of the dock, and looked the part. The ladies tent was covered with pink draping and inside a beautiful crystal chandelier hung above the feminine lounge with lip gloss, perfume, and a fun framed quote from Coco Chanel for the girls to use.  On the other side was the gents tent; it had a brown leather sofa, drum coffee table, and iron wrought chandelier to create the masculine vibe. Cigars were offered inside the tent for the male guests to enjoy. The couple danced the night away to the awesome Calvin Taylor Band and the couple rode off in a vintage Rolls Royce provided by ACW!

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Jaclyn + Oliver

Jaclyn + Oliver's Lowndes Grove Plantation wedding was a gorgeous Southern celebration full of coral, gold, and seafoam green accents! This local couple decided to pay homage to their city and tie the knot in beautiful Charleston with the Ashley River as their backdrop. The day began in the Lowndes Grove suite where Jaclyn and her girls got their hair and makeup done by Paper Dolls while sipping mimosas and relaxing pre-nuptials. When the girls were all glammed up, Jaclyn and her father Don shared a very special father and daughter first look. This is a great alternative if you and your groom opt out of the first look! Once Oliver and his groomsmen arrived on site, Jaclyn was tucked away while everyone lined up for the ceremony. Jaclyn carried a lush bouquet filled with green succulents and coral blooms, tied together with lace and seafoam green ribbons. Oliver's mouth dropped wide open when he saw his stunning bride gracefully walk down the aisle. The soon-to-be newlyweds stood beneath a beautiful floral arbor of garden roses, lisiantus, and succulents as they said their vows in front of their closest friends and family. After Jaclyn + Oliver tied the knot, cocktail hour kicked off under the tent! Elegant long tables filled the room with mahogany chivari chairs. The tablescape was complete with gold rimmed chargers, gold silverware, coral napkins, custom menus, lush blooms and greenery, gold lanterns, and custom gold pineapples! These gold spray-painted pineapples were a hit. A symbol of Southern hospitality and welcome, these gold pineapples were incorporated throughout the wedding on the couple's koozies, as small cake toppers, and as garnishes on the passed hors d'oeuvres. The seafoam green cake was another focal point in the room, complete with gold flecks and Jaclyn + Oliver's initials. Guests were treated to a delicious stationed meal, a custom gelato bar at request of the groom, and dancing the night away to the sounds of Charleston Groove Factory. This band kept guests on their feet all night long! Friends, family, and the elated newlyweds danced to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" before Jaclyn + Oliver departed under an archway of sparklers into their getaway vintage Rolls Royce. We so enjoyed working with this couple on their gorgeous Southern design, and we're not soon to forget those gold pineapples! Wishing Jaclyn + Oliver years of health, happiness, and love.

Middleton Place Wedding: Lauren + Gentry

When we think of a classic southern wedding, Lauren and Gentry's Middleton Place wedding immediately comes to mind! These college sweethearts graduated from the College of Charleston and got engaged at the Middleton Place Oak, so it was only fitting for them to invite their friends and family to join them at Middleton Place for their wedding. Lauren spent the morning primping at The Inn, and then headed to the plantation for photos before her ceremony with the gardens as her backdrop, and perfectly accentuated her natural beauty and stunning Modern Trosseau lace gown! Lauren's flowers and color palate were southern perfection, including charm peonies, amaryllis, dusty miller, succulents, fringe tulips, and peonies. There were tears in everyone's eyes as the ceremony began in the Sundial Garden as Gentry saw his bride for the first time. At the close of a heartfelt ceremony, guests were escorted through the Octagonal Gardens to the Crane Pool for cocktail hour, accompanied by peacocks and lambs! Guests were served classic southern appetizers, including oyster shooters, the grooms favorite! But the party really started at sunset as everyone moved to the Middleton Place Pavilion for dinner and dancing with music accompanied .  After a touching blessing by our new groom in his stylish brackish bowtie, guests enjoyed an incredible meal and danced the night away. And what's a southern wedding without corn hole for everyone to enjoy and sweet grass flowers as favors! We loved working with Lauren and Gentry throughout their entire planning process, and wish them only the best with their future lives in Texas together!

William Aiken House Wedding: Kristy + Zach

Kristy and Zach's William Aiken House wedding was certainly one to remember! Complete with a personal cigar roller, caricature artists for favors, and  late night dessert stations. The ceremony was picturesque, with garden flowers lining the aisle, and greenery draped over the pergola with a chandelier to top it all off. The bridesmaids looked impeccable in various mix- matched metallic dresses, complementing the classic black and white tuxes. A gorgeous tent with lounge and lighting provided by Loluma created the perfect ambiance for the night. After the delicious meal provided by Fish Catering guests came downstairs to dance the night away to the tunes of Charleston Groove Factory. Last but not least, that cake!  We will let the pictures speak for itself on this one, but wow! Sit back and enjoy all the images captured by Amelia and Dan.

Historic Rice Mill Wedding: Lacey + Joey

We absolutely adored this romantic glam brunch wedding for Lacey + Joey, a couple from Florida who chose the Historic Rice Mill to serve as the perfect backdrop for their wedding on the water! The day began with hair and makeup by Paper Dolls (and plenty of Starbucks) for the bridal party at the Charleston Place suite. The bridal party + groomsmen then made their way over to the Rice Mill for an outdoor ceremony under a clear tent on the back patio. Who says rain is bad luck on your wedding day?! Pure Luxe Bride rocked the rain plan with swagged light pink drape from the top of the tent and ivory drape at the altar, held back by lush floral tie backs full of white hydrangeas and blush garden roses, creating an intimate ceremony space. Rows of gold chivari chairs lined the aisle that was covered with pink, blush, and white rose petals. Joey's smile was contagious as Lacey gracefully walked down the aisle beside her father. After the ceremony, guests made their way inside for the start of the reception! The room was filled with shades of taupe, peach, blush, ivory, and champagne, as two long tables ran down the center of the space. Clear candle votives were scattered along the length of the table with tall crystal candelabras topped with a spilling arrangement of white hydrangeas, blush sweet peas, blush ranunculus, white amaryllis, and more. Another gorgeous floral arrangement was an elegant hanging garland over the bride + groom's cake, brimming with white majolica spray roses, blush garden roses, white lilac, and more! Branch did an absolutely beautiful job with these flowers. Textured linens and taupe loveseats completed the lounge's chic look. Guests enjoyed a delicious brunch, complete with a juice and coffee bar, by Good Food CateringChucktown Sound kept the guests on their feet as they danced the day away before it was time to send off the happy couple through a cloud of bubbles! We cannot get enough of this absolutely stunning bride and her handsome groom! This vintage chic DIY wedding at Magnolia Plantation was the perfect day for Christina + Kirk! Plenty of details to go around..burlap and lace table runners, specialty lounge from 428 main, and a clear top tent with bistro lighting, these two were dancing under the stars all night long! The couple had vintage post cards as their guest book for guests to sign and grab a ribbon wand as they took a seat for the ceremony. The garden style blooms in soft blush hues could not be any prettier, and the brides bouquet was a true show stopper. Full lush cascading florals with a waterfall effect, oh my! These pictures captured by Richard Bell Photography are breath-taking! William Aiken House Wedding: Zoe + JP

We absolutely loved Zoe + JP's romantic glam wedding at the William Aiken House in downtown Charleston! Their design included textured silver linens, a white tent complete with silver swagged drape, and accents of chandeliers throughout, giving the space a romantic feel.  The lounge area was complete with ivory studded couches and silver accent pillows. Upstairs, the tables were fully set for the stationed dinner with a light pink menu card atop a silver napkin, tying in the color scheme throughout the space. The bride carried a lush bouquet of peonies, garden roses, dusty miller, and white sweet peas. During this sweet couple's first look, the groom's mouth dropped wide open when he saw his bride for the first time. We loved all of their first look shots! The ceremony took place under the pergola on the lawn, with a chandelier hanging over Zoe + JP as they said their vows. The couple's two dogs joined the wedding party on their walk down the aisle, adorned with bowties and flower wreaths around their necks. After cocktail hour, there were many happy tears as Zoe and her father danced to "Gracie Girl" by Ben Folds Five.  DJ Wade kept the crowd (especially the bride + groom) on the dance floor all night long with his upbeat jams. At the end of the night, the newlyweds exited under a picturesque sparkler archway onto King Street. Thank you so much to Hyer Images for capturing these amazing shots!

Harborside East Wedding: Alex + Jake

Alex + Jake's celebration took place at Harborside East, a beautiful waterside venue next to the Ravenel Bridge in Mt. Pleasant. Their wedding was full of fun and preppy details complete with cornflower blue and white patterned table runners. This southern wedding has adorable written all over it! Not to mention, the bride and her dress were absolutely flawless!

The cutest ring bearers were pulled down the aisle in a Red Rider wagon, sporting their "Here Comes the Bride!" sign. Alex floated down the stairs and aisle with her dad by her side. The bride + groom said their vows in front of a beautiful, wooden cross handmade by a family friend and adorned with gorgeous flowers by Wild Flowers.

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Katie + Mike

Our spring wedding season is now in full swing as we celebrate Katie + Mike's wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation. Although the weather was not on our side today, this Pure Luxe celebration turned out better than ever! A last minute tent addition and perfectly executed rain plan made Katie + Mike's wedding go off without a hitch. Hyer Images beautifully captured each and every special moment of the day.

The beautiful bride walked down the aisle towards her groom to Classical Charleston playing Canon in D. Katie + Mike exchanged vows, standing side by side with their bridal party of seventeen overlooking the dock at Lowdnes Grove Plantation. After recessing to The Beatles Classic, "All You Need is Love", the stunning sunset welcomed Katie + Mike's guests into cocktail hour. What lowcountry cocktail hour would be complete without a raw bar?! Family and friends enjoyed chilled shrimp and crab, lobster claws and oysters on the half shell both inside the house and under the tent.

Katie + Mike shared their first dance as husband and wife to Sam Cooke's "Nothing Can Change This Love" - a truly special moment for the newlyweds. Their first dance was follow by the father-daughter dance and the mother-son dance to kick off dinner! Guests enjoyed a delicious, seated duo-plated dinner by Patrick Properties

Before the party truly began, the maid of honor and best men gave truly heartfelt speeches to their best friends - the newlyweds. The cake was cut and the dancing began! Patrick Properties served a late night snack to guests before Katie + Mike departed through a sea of sparklers! A huge thank you to all of our wonderful vendors and Pure Luxe Couple for including us in this most special day!

Magnolia Plantation Wedding: Meghan + Chuck

Has Magnolia Plantation ever looked so beautiful?! For Pure Luxe bride and groom Meghan + Chuck,  our team worked long and hard to transform this venue into a vintage, romantic, and rustic inspired venue. The finished design looked amazing and we loved the pink and peach color scheme combined with rustic elements like farm tables and mason jars!

The Bride and Groom chose to do a "First Look" on one of Magnolia Plantation's popular bridges: we just LOVE a first look!

Crehan_Mohr_Riverland_Studios_mc147_low Crehan_Mohr_Riverland_Studios_mc150_low Crehan_Mohr_Riverland_Studios_mc151_low

For dinner, guests were in for a real treat. Mosaic was the caterer of choice and as usual, they provided guests with an assortment of delicious southern treats and classic favorites. Among the food stations set up, guests could chose from options such as: shrimp and grits, a taco bar, beef, shrimp, mahi mahi, chicken slides, and crabcakes. What delicious choices!

Who doesn’t love gourmet cupcakes?! Thanks to Sugar Bakeshop, guests enjoyed cupcakes of various flavors including: lemon, chocolate, caramel, yellow cake, and double chocolate. In addition to cupcakes, cinnamon and mixed berry tarts were served. Sugar Bakeshop, one of our Luxe List vendors, created a beautiful arrangement of these sweet treats that tasted just as amazing as they looked!

Following dinner, guests had the option of enjoying s’mores outside by the fire pit. These chocolate deserts are always popular, and are enjoyed even more by a stone fire pit beneath the stars.

Meghan and Chuck’s Carriage House wedding can be described as rustic and natural. The couple used many unique elements and small details to create a personalized and beautifully decorated venue. Items such as burlap table runners placed on the middle of dark, long wood tables accented the rustic theme. On the square tables, beautiful vintage lace linens were used. White and light pink flowers, created by Wild Flowers, decorated the venue and tied together the rustic, natural, and vintage feel of the decor.

Not only did guests leave Meghan and Chuck’s celebration with smiles on their faces and great memories, but they also left with some sweet treats from the dessert table. As wedding favors, each guests was able to fill a custom paper bag with sweets such as M&M’s, swedish fish, jelly bellys, and chocolate pretzels. After a night of dancing and celebrating, these candy treats were the perfect late night snack.

Upon departure, Meghan and Chuck enjoyed a sparkler exit as they climbed into a white, stretch limo. Not only did guests have a blast celebrating this fun couple, but tons of memories were made at this exciting celebration. It was a pleasure working and getting to know this amazing couple!
