Legare Waring House Wedding: Felicia + Sean

There was no better way to celebrate Memorial Day than with the beautiful union of Felicia and Sean at Legare Waring House. This couple was joined together in an official army ceremony, complete with uniforms and a saber arch. A beautiful chandelier hung in the middle of the avenue of oaks above the couple as they exchanged vows with a pretty arrangement of petals lining the aisle.

This DIY bride  brought her own creativity to the table with a combination of burlap and turquoise. Their place cards were individual sea shells placed in sand for guests to keep at the end of the night. The ivory lanterns on every table gave the space an elegant feel throughout the nigh with twinkle lights hanging from the trees. To honor those soldiers that could not be there to witness the wedding, Felicia + Sean set up a POW table to remind everyone the true meaning of memorial day.

Of course the night was not complete without dessert! A turquoise and white cake by Declare Cakes stole the show, especially when it was cut by the grooms sword!  However, it didn't stop there, the brides favorite homemade pies were brought by family members to accompany the cake.

Charleston Groove Factory brought down the house, especially with their rendition of “Faithfully” by Journey, that the couple shared their first dance too.  They said goodbye as they walked through a tunnel of glowsticks and departed in a 1950 white Bentley.

Magnolia Plantation Wedding: Katina + Tyler

On July 13th at the Magnolia Plantation Carriage House, Katina and Tyler shared a romantic wedding surrounded by family and friends. This destination couple incorporated Greek traditions, as well as their personal story of how they met. After saying ‘I Do’ among the moss trees and waterfront that accompany the Carriage House, a cocktail hour followed on the patio.

After mingling with friends and family who traveled from afar to help celebrate this special day, a plated dinner was served inside the Carriage House. Katina and Tyler’s romantic and sweet wedding celebration accented their love for each other that started when the couple met in college.

A color scheme of coral, light green, grey, ivory, yellow, and pink were used to create a romantic, garden inspired theme. With the help of First Bloom of Charleston, beautiful flower arrangements were placed throughout the Carriage House to accent this theme.

After several heartfelt toasts and more celebration over dinner, Katina and Tyler enjoyed a fun reception with their guests. The band Zero to Never kept the party going with great musical entertainment.
