Wingate Plantation Elopement: Lindsey + Brandon

We absolutely love styling a sweet intimate elopement for a bride + groom. For couples who love swooning over detailed photos, a styled elopement is the way to go! This gorgeous elopement for Lindsey + Brandon took place at Wingate Plantation in Johns Island, and it was all about the little details! The wonderful Aaron + Jillian photography captured all of the pretty of Lindsay getting ready, from her beautiful lace BHLDN dress to her maroon colored MRS.BOX. The day started out with a bit of rain, and Lindsey used this to her advantage by getting to take adorable photos in her bright red Hunter rainboots. After the first look, these two lovebirds said their vows underneath a sparkling chandelier hanging from an old oak tree. Once the ceremony was over, it was photo time! The bride + groom toasted their new marriage on a hot pink loveseat from 428 Main. They held a sign that said "Surprise" to send out to family + friends. The cake was all gold with a bright red bloom that complemented Lindsey's bouquet. After moving around the plantation for some picture perfect sunset photos, the bride + groom were ready to say goodbye. They finished the perfect day with some photos under a shower of gold confetti. We watched as the new Mr. & Mrs. headed off to enjoy their first meal together as husband and wife.  Congratulations to Lindsey + Brandon!

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Michelle + Omar

Michelle + Omar had a dream wedding despite the summer rain at Lowndes Grove Plantation. The blush, navy, and gold accents glistened beneath the beautiful crystal chandeliers. This couple had adorable details; their personal monogram for the specialty bar, a custom black and white dance floor, swizzle straws, and dancing shoes! They couldn't bring their dog all the way from Miami, so they made a cut out so he could be there in spirit, we love this! The couple shared their vows in the black and white piazza at Lowndes, just perfect for an intimate ceremony! You can just see the love in their eyes, and this overhead shot of their sparkler departure is one of our favorites to date! Thanks to Leigh Webber photography for all the beauty.

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Katie + Mike

Our spring wedding season is now in full swing as we celebrate Katie + Mike's wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation. Although the weather was not on our side today, this Pure Luxe celebration turned out better than ever! A last minute tent addition and perfectly executed rain plan made Katie + Mike's wedding go off without a hitch. Hyer Images beautifully captured each and every special moment of the day.

The beautiful bride walked down the aisle towards her groom to Classical Charleston playing Canon in D. Katie + Mike exchanged vows, standing side by side with their bridal party of seventeen overlooking the dock at Lowdnes Grove Plantation. After recessing to The Beatles Classic, "All You Need is Love", the stunning sunset welcomed Katie + Mike's guests into cocktail hour. What lowcountry cocktail hour would be complete without a raw bar?! Family and friends enjoyed chilled shrimp and crab, lobster claws and oysters on the half shell both inside the house and under the tent.

Katie + Mike shared their first dance as husband and wife to Sam Cooke's "Nothing Can Change This Love" - a truly special moment for the newlyweds. Their first dance was follow by the father-daughter dance and the mother-son dance to kick off dinner! Guests enjoyed a delicious, seated duo-plated dinner by Patrick Properties

Before the party truly began, the maid of honor and best men gave truly heartfelt speeches to their best friends - the newlyweds. The cake was cut and the dancing began! Patrick Properties served a late night snack to guests before Katie + Mike departed through a sea of sparklers! A huge thank you to all of our wonderful vendors and Pure Luxe Couple for including us in this most special day!

Real Luxe Party: The Knot Market Mixer

Pure Luxe Bride was honored to have been asked to design and plan The Knot's Charleston Market Mixer for the second year in a row! The event took place March 19th, outdoors behind the Gibbes Museum of Art in downtown Charleston. Pure Luxe Bride's very own Francesca and Blake dreamed up this incredible design, layout, and decor and worked with some of Charleston's top vendors to make this vision come to reality. Over 250 of Charleston's wedding industry professionals attended the event and we couldn't have been happier to see so many familiar faces supporting us. Let's hear from the girls at PLB themselves...."When deciding on a venue, we knew we wanted it to be completely outside with open air. The Gibbes was the perfect place for this as it is truly a blank canvas. Our inspiration for this event came from a color palate that's not often used for weddings and we were dying for some bright hues. We created this 'Moroccan Glam' look based off of a bold color palate with touches of sparkle and gold. One of our favorite ways to incorporate unique design elements into an event is by adding custom fabric that can be mixed into all décor aspects. The 'kaleidoscope' fabric that we chose for the front panels of the bar is what we used to create the vision for the entire event. You can see this pattern integrated in all of our stationary and design details. For this event, we really wanted to express our individual design style as you can see in the table arrangements, tabletop chandeliers, fuchsia seat cushions, and station displays. We decided to go a different route with our station signs by using plates with mini easels as a way to show what's being offered which we are really loving! Take a closer look at these images to really get an eye for Pure Luxe Bride design."

Mosaic catered the event with the most delicious, Moroccan cuisine-inspired stations. At the Meatball Bar, guests could choose from Classic Beef, Chicken, and Potato meatballs, with Classic Tomato Sauce, Spicy Teriyaki or Gorgonzola Cream, topped with either Crispy Basil Leaves, Savory Onion Straws or Crunchy Rice Noodles. The Mediterranean-inspired Antipasti table was a plethora of roasted vegetables like zucchini, carrots and asparagus; squash, okra, artichokes, and tomatoes. The Antipasti was complemented by hummus, pimento cheese, tzatziki sauce and green olives, all offered on the side. What Moroccan themed event isn't complete without a flatbread station?! With three delicious options to choose from at this station, all of our guests were sure to find something yummy to munch on throughout the event.

To compliment the Casablanca cocktail fountain, Squeeze On Site created two scrumptious Sangria recipes for guests to enjoy. The first was Sweet Honey White Sangria; the other, a Mixed Berry Limoncello Sangria - both were filed with color! The circular maude bar was decked out with colorful cocktail stirrers, hand-painted napkins and paneled with specialty fabric!

Without help from all of our wonderful vendors, The Knot Market Mixer wouldn't have been the same! We must thank Aaron Nicholas Photography and Film Anywhere Productions for capturing every unique detail and moment on film! Everything from the gold sparkly table runners to the custom-made hot pink seat cushions, from Connie Duglin, complimented the Moroccan-inspired evening perfectly. Rewined Candles set up next to the registration desk and offered free candles to the first 25 guests to arrive. Meghan and Demi from Pink Dot Beauty Bar offered their makeup expertise via their "smooch bar". Tabbuli set up hookahs at each of our fabulous lounges; with the assistance of "hookahristas", guests enjoyed flavorful hookah and hookah bubble blowing all night long! Wed on Canvas stood by our rockin' band, Charleston Groove Factory, and captured the entire evening in a painting which was auctioned off for charity at the end of the evening. The stunning invitations, bar signs, programs and more were created by The Silver Starfish. Our rental and technical teams deserve a huge shout out too: Snyder Events, Innovative Event Services, and Stage Presence Event & Production Rentals.
