Magnolia Plantation Wedding: Carissa + Tom

The rainy spring weather didn't stop Carissa and Tom's day from being anything but perfect. This sweet couple hailed from Canada and chose Charleston for a small affair with their closest friends and family. We loved designing this intimate garden style wedding at the Magnolia Plantation Veranda. The lush florals by Branch Design Studio made a dreary day pop! The couple did their first look at Zero George Street which made for the prefect setting with sunlight shining through the window panes. The color palette for the decor was a mixture of pastels-  blush, peach, robin egg blue and spring greens with a touch of gold. The table tops were set with floral vignettes of peonies, garden roses, sweet peas, and light blue delphinium. The head table had a beautiful floral table runner, the vintage charger and gold rimmed glassware were the perfect touch. The Magnolia Veranda provided the perfect backdrop with its large mossy oak trees creating an unspoken breathtaking charm.

Old Exchange Building Wedding: Megan + Jonathan

On June 29th, Megan + Jonathan shared a beautiful wedding at the Summerall Chapel located at the Citadel, followed by a reception at the Old Exchange Building. Guests enjoyed a beautiful church wedding and then continued the celebration downtown in a unique, elegant, and classic Charleston venue. The location of the wedding festivities provided the bride and groom with a classic and elegant affair. Decor of black, white, and silver, along with other personal elements, made for a timeless event. With the uncle of the bride officiating the ceremony, Megan + Jonathan exchanged vows among family and friends in a personal and sweet ceremony.

This wedding can be described as glam, romantic, elegant, and timeless. A color scheme of black, white, and silver was used to achieve this theme. The couple incorporated classic touches throughout the venues, such as beautiful mercury glass that provided a timeless yet glam touch.

Since Megan + Jonathan began their journey when they started dating in high school, they dedicated a wall within the Old Exchange Building to celebrate their journey to the altar. Pictures and other memorable moments were captured on this wall where guests could reflect on the love that this couple shares.

As always, the photo booth was a huge hit with party guests at the reception. Guests struck a pose in celebration of Megan + Jonathan. To end this elegant celebration, Megan + Jonathan departed via Charleston Black Cab Company while family and friends waved sparklers in celebration.
