Legare Waring House Wedding: Rosie + Daniel

Rosie and Daniel chose the historic and beautiful Legare-Waring House for their rustic spring wedding! The couple wanted to accent their alma-mater in their decorations, with peach and lavender florals from Branch Design Studio throughout their entire ceremony and reception, Go Clemson!! With details like wooden wine barrels and vintage  lounge furniture, this upscale rustic wedding was one for the books! This Legare Waring House wedding was complete with cafe lighting over the entire reception space, and gorgeous crystal chandeliers amongst the oak trees, this reception was absolutely stunning as the sun began to set over the water.  Our bride and groom both spent the morning at the Legare -Waring House getting ready before their intimate first look amongst the oak trees. After their pre-wedding photo shoot with Courtney Dox, the bridal party made their way to the lawn of the house, and down the isle! After a beautiful evening ceremony, it was time to celebrate! Our newest Mr. and Mrs. shared their first dance to "Crazy Love", played live for them by The Root Doctors, and then joined their family and friends for a night filled with love and celebration. After an incredible meal from Cru Catering, and a delicious cake from DeClare, Rosie and Daniel spent their night dancing with friends and family and enjoying their stunning open air reception. We're so happy Rosie and Daniel chose to go through their planning process with us, and we loved watching them begin their new and exciting future together!

William Aiken House Wedding: Lisa + Scott

Lisa + Scott tied the knot in December at their William Aiken House wedding creating a classic, elegant feel with colors of navy and ivory. The couple wanted to make sure they commemorated  their families on this special day by setting up a table where guests had the chance to see old wedding photos of loved ones. Lisa's bouquet was full of Garden Roses, Ranunculus and small touches of Brunia Berries and Dusty Miller- it was the perfect winter bouquet by Wild Flowers.  The tablescape was full of glass lanterns, blooms, and candles for an intimate post-wedding dinner. Navy napkins were delicately placed at every chair with a personalized menu card, showing a loving message from the couple on the front and the dinner menu on the back.  As dinner concluded, guests headed downstairs for a delicious cake and dancing!  The lounge area was set up with gorgeous white studded couches, complete with "Mr. and Mrs." pillows. Lisa + Scott were sent on their way into downtown Charleston, and their family and friends departed with a sweet treat to save for later! Thanks to Aaron and Jillian for capturing all the pretty!

South Carolina Aquarium Wedding: Cecelia + Michael

Cecelia + Michael decided to share their vows on a terrace overlooking the famous Arthur Ravanel Jr. Bridge just across the water from the ceremony site. This wedding was especially unique because family + friends were not the only guests attending. This adorable couple said "I Do" at the SC Aquarium! Even though fish were a unique addition to the reception site, nothing could distract the guests from the beautiful décor. Two huge sparkling chandeliers, provided by IES, surrounded the couple during the ceremony. They were married outside overlooking the Charleston Harbor. Cecelia wore a white fur shawl to keep warm during this chilly November night. Entering the reception space, guests were overwhelmed by the romantic ambiance of the blues and purples. The tables were covered with a teal crinkle linen, complimenting the great ocean tank that sat in the middle of the room. On top of the tables were a beautiful layout of white hydrangeas, white garden roses, and touches of purple sweet peas. Instead of the usual place cards, this couple decided to share a welcome beverage with each of their guests. When walking in the doors, there was a table filled with champagne glasses, where each guest would find their name. Once they had retrieved their glass, they would be informed of the table in which they were sitting. A specific design element that could not go unnoticed were the four stunning chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. During cocktail hour, guests entered the usual room where aquarium guests view the Great Tank. However, PLB transformed this space and made it glam! There was a dance floor set up in front of the tank, with DJ Wade elevated on the risers. A white leather lounge, provided by Eventworks, was set up on either side of the dance floor. Guests just couldn't help taking a peek at the artist in the corner who was live painting the event! Wed on Canvas provides an artist who depicts your wedding day through a painting. This is such a unique and worthwhile idea! After a fun-filled night of dancing, Cecelia + Michael strutted through a sparkler tunnel and took off in their vintage Rolls Royce, provided by ACW.

Tessa + Joe at Magnolia Plantation Carriage House

Tessa + Joe's military wedding at Magnolia Plantation was complete with pops of color, lanterns, coral charm peonies, and their furry friends! The ceremony was held outside on the dock overlooking the Ashley River, and the reception took place in the Carriage House. During the ceremony, Tessa + Joe introduced their Love Lock to symbolize their unbreakable love. The couple and parents had their own lock which they locked to a frame and threw the keys into the water. How sweet!

In the Carriage House, white drapes aligned the doorways, custom patterned table runners, and lanterns surrounded by colorful blooms. After a delicious plated dinner and speeches, it was time to cut the ombre ruffled cake. After the reception, guests lined the walkway to send Tessa + Joe off with a sparkler departure!

Magnolia Plantation Wedding: Meghan + Chuck

Has Magnolia Plantation ever looked so beautiful?! For Pure Luxe bride and groom Meghan + Chuck,  our team worked long and hard to transform this venue into a vintage, romantic, and rustic inspired venue. The finished design looked amazing and we loved the pink and peach color scheme combined with rustic elements like farm tables and mason jars!

The Bride and Groom chose to do a "First Look" on one of Magnolia Plantation's popular bridges: we just LOVE a first look!

For dinner, guests were in for a real treat. Mosaic was the caterer of choice and as usual, they provided guests with an assortment of delicious southern treats and classic favorites. Among the food stations set up, guests could chose from options such as: shrimp and grits, a taco bar, beef, shrimp, mahi mahi, chicken slides, and crabcakes. What delicious choices!

Who doesn’t love gourmet cupcakes?! Thanks to Sugar Bakeshop, guests enjoyed cupcakes of various flavors including: lemon, chocolate, caramel, yellow cake, and double chocolate. In addition to cupcakes, cinnamon and mixed berry tarts were served. Sugar Bakeshop, one of our Luxe List vendors, created a beautiful arrangement of these sweet treats that tasted just as amazing as they looked!

Following dinner, guests had the option of enjoying s’mores outside by the fire pit. These chocolate deserts are always popular, and are enjoyed even more by a stone fire pit beneath the stars.

Meghan and Chuck’s Carriage House wedding can be described as rustic and natural. The couple used many unique elements and small details to create a personalized and beautifully decorated venue. Items such as burlap table runners placed on the middle of dark, long wood tables accented the rustic theme. On the square tables, beautiful vintage lace linens were used. White and light pink flowers, created by Wild Flowers, decorated the venue and tied together the rustic, natural, and vintage feel of the decor.

Not only did guests leave Meghan and Chuck’s celebration with smiles on their faces and great memories, but they also left with some sweet treats from the dessert table. As wedding favors, each guests was able to fill a custom paper bag with sweets such as M&M’s, swedish fish, jelly bellys, and chocolate pretzels. After a night of dancing and celebrating, these candy treats were the perfect late night snack.

Upon departure, Meghan and Chuck enjoyed a sparkler exit as they climbed into a white, stretch limo. Not only did guests have a blast celebrating this fun couple, but tons of memories were made at this exciting celebration. It was a pleasure working and getting to know this amazing couple!
