Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Kiera + Brian

Kiera + Brian's Lowndes Grove Plantation wedding was an elegant day to remember! The day began with hair and makeup for Kiera and her bridesmaids in the Lowndes Grove Suite, while Brian and his groomsmen got ready at the French Quarter Inn. Both of these stunning locations made the perfect backdrop for getting ready photos. It's so special to capture the hours leading up to the ceremony! Kiera + Brian opted out of a first look and said "I do" at Saint Luke's Chapel. Kiera looked classic in a beautifully beaded Monique Lhuillier gown. As Kiera walked down the aisle to her handsome groom, she carried a spilling, textural bouquet of peach juliet garden roses, pink maria teresa garden roses, peach tree peonies, cafe au last dahlias, coral peach ranunculus, and more lush blooms. When Brian saw Kiera for the first time, he couldn't contain his excitement. The two said their vows with Brian's father as the officiant. As the newlyweds happily exited, guests made their way to Lowndes Grove Plantation for the reception! The tent was beautifully decorated with long ivory linened tables, mahogany chivari chairs, vintage China, majestic light blue napkins, and gorgeous pops of orange, coral pink, and pink ranunculus in thin clear glass bud vases. The cake was a beautiful shade of light blue with textured detail and vibrant pink maria teresa garden roses and majolica spray roses. The couple had specialty engraved cake forks that read "I do" and "Me too". Extra details we loved were the bride's custom Instagram signs with rose gold frames and place cards attached to vintage keys that doubled as bottle openers! Guests were treated to a plated dinner and a night of lively dancing to the sounds of Stephen Darby. Before the reception came to a close, Kiera + Brian departed under a sparkler archway into their vintage Rolls Royce getaway car. We adored this elegant, vintage design with shades of light blue and pops of vibrant blooms. Wishing this New York couple years of happiness to come!

William Aiken House Wedding: Megan + Keith

Megan + Keith's William Aiken House wedding  was nothing short of fabulous! The venue was the perfect setting for this white, black, and gold affair captured by Evan Laettner! Gold dipped roses, white modern lounge sets, black chandeliers, and metallic linens...need we say more!? Megan's bridesmaids looked stunning in their head to tow gold glitter Badgley Mischka gowns. One of our favorite details of the day were the place cards, gold horses labeled with guests names to help find their seat. You can never have too much gold in our opinion and this wedding did it just right!

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Jaclyn + Oliver

Jaclyn + Oliver's Lowndes Grove Plantation wedding was a gorgeous Southern celebration full of coral, gold, and seafoam green accents! This local couple decided to pay homage to their city and tie the knot in beautiful Charleston with the Ashley River as their backdrop. The day began in the Lowndes Grove suite where Jaclyn and her girls got their hair and makeup done by Paper Dolls while sipping mimosas and relaxing pre-nuptials. When the girls were all glammed up, Jaclyn and her father Don shared a very special father and daughter first look. This is a great alternative if you and your groom opt out of the first look! Once Oliver and his groomsmen arrived on site, Jaclyn was tucked away while everyone lined up for the ceremony. Jaclyn carried a lush bouquet filled with green succulents and coral blooms, tied together with lace and seafoam green ribbons. Oliver's mouth dropped wide open when he saw his stunning bride gracefully walk down the aisle. The soon-to-be newlyweds stood beneath a beautiful floral arbor of garden roses, lisiantus, and succulents as they said their vows in front of their closest friends and family. After Jaclyn + Oliver tied the knot, cocktail hour kicked off under the tent! Elegant long tables filled the room with mahogany chivari chairs. The tablescape was complete with gold rimmed chargers, gold silverware, coral napkins, custom menus, lush blooms and greenery, gold lanterns, and custom gold pineapples! These gold spray-painted pineapples were a hit. A symbol of Southern hospitality and welcome, these gold pineapples were incorporated throughout the wedding on the couple's koozies, as small cake toppers, and as garnishes on the passed hors d'oeuvres. The seafoam green cake was another focal point in the room, complete with gold flecks and Jaclyn + Oliver's initials. Guests were treated to a delicious stationed meal, a custom gelato bar at request of the groom, and dancing the night away to the sounds of Charleston Groove Factory. This band kept guests on their feet all night long! Friends, family, and the elated newlyweds danced to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" before Jaclyn + Oliver departed under an archway of sparklers into their getaway vintage Rolls Royce. We so enjoyed working with this couple on their gorgeous Southern design, and we're not soon to forget those gold pineapples! Wishing Jaclyn + Oliver years of health, happiness, and love.

William Aiken House Wedding: Kristy + Zach

Kristy and Zach's William Aiken House wedding was certainly one to remember! Complete with a personal cigar roller, caricature artists for favors, and  late night dessert stations. The ceremony was picturesque, with garden flowers lining the aisle, and greenery draped over the pergola with a chandelier to top it all off. The bridesmaids looked impeccable in various mix- matched metallic dresses, complementing the classic black and white tuxes. A gorgeous tent with lounge and lighting provided by Loluma created the perfect ambiance for the night. After the delicious meal provided by Fish Catering guests came downstairs to dance the night away to the tunes of Charleston Groove Factory. Last but not least, that cake!  We will let the pictures speak for itself on this one, but wow! Sit back and enjoy all the images captured by Amelia and Dan.

William Aiken House Wedding: Ivonne + Randy

William Aiken House looked even more beautiful than we could've imagined on this stunning Saturday last April for Ivonne + Randy's English, Gothic inspired wedding!

Ivonne and Randy gradually arrived with their bridal party, dressed and ready for the day ahead, as family members slowly flooded in for photos. Before the family photos began, Ivonne + Randy enjoyed one of the most romantic first looks we've ever seen. Photographer Reese Moore did a beautiful job at capturing the couple in those intimate first moments of seeing one another. Ivonne couldn't stop smiling! Randy fell in love all over again when he saw her in her stunning Modern Trousseau gown.

Following some exceptional photos of the classic black + white bridal party, it was time for the ceremony! Instead of "Cannon" by Zox playing as the bridal party made their way down the aisle, Ivonne surprised her future husband with a bagpiper to play the rest of the processional. Randy, beaming from the moment the bagpiper began to the very end of the ceremony, loved his surprise! The ceremony took place on the carriage lot of The William Aiken House, where Ivonne + Randy's closest family and friends witnessed them exchange vows and agree to spend the rest of their lives loving one another.

Cocktail hour began as guests made their way to the second floor of the William Aiken House for a raw bar, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. As the hour came to a close, all of the guests were invited to make their way to the upstairs porch to watch the couple's first dance. You cannot beat the gorgeous sunlight from their first dance, it truly was picture perfect!

After dinner, Ivonne + Randy cut their cake and danced the night away! The couple invited all of their guests to join them for an after party at Fish just a couple doors down into the wee hours of the night.

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Amanda + Rod

The chance of rain wasn't stopping Amanda + Rod from having a beautiful day! As the bride and groom got ready for their special day in Isle of Palms, Pure Luxe Bride was hard at work at Lowndes Grove Plantation on the peninsula with a gorgeous draping installation for their tent!

The bride and groom chose to exchange their vows at St. John's Lutheran Church, off the beaten path nearby the downtown market. As guests arrived to the church, the bridal party was hidden before beginning what was a beautiful ceremony. Both mothers processed to "Clair de Lune", followed by the bridal party to "Canon in D". The officiant, groom and best man entered first, followed by the Jr. Bridesmaids, the bridesmaids escorted by the groomsmen, and of course, the two adorable ring bearer's. Amanda and her father were greeted by "The Prince of Denmark's March", as they themselves marched down the aisle.

Cocktail hour began at 6pm, where guests were invited to enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the plantation home. Amanda + Rod's sweet puppy arrived, groomed and fluffy, to snap a few photos with the couple on their special day. "Dr. + Mrs. Romero" were announced into their reception and enjoyed their first dance to Edwin McCain's, "I'll Be". Amanda then shared a dance with her father and  Rod with his mother.

After the station-style dinner, Amanda + Rod cut their beautifully designed cake, adorned with flowers and detailed piping to match the lace on Amanda's dress. They had so much fun with the bouquet and garter tosses and danced the rest of the night away with their guests! Amanda + Rod chose "God Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton to be played as the last song of the night, before their sparkler departure!

Lowndes Grove Plantation Wedding: Jackie + Matt

On August 10th, beautiful Lowndes Grove Plantation was decorated with elegant, classic, and garden inspired decor for the wedding celebration of Jackie + Matt. We had the pleasure of working with this sweet couple to create an elegant affair that would be remembered for years to come!

nicwed1080

Jackie and Matt said ‘I Do’ at Grace Episcopal Church in front of family and friends. This sweet ceremony was followed by a celebration at Lowndes Grove, where guests enjoyed a delicious plated dinner and a night of dancing to great music.

nicwed796

This was the first time we were able to experience a "First Look" with the Bride and her Daddy. There wasn't a dry eye in sight! Brides that want to be traditional with seeing your groom when you walk down the aisle, consider a First Look with the other most important man in your life, your Daddy.

nicwed546 nicwed581

Lilac, coral, and ivory shades were found throughout Lowndes Grove. This color scheme, along with beautiful flower arrangements by Lotus Flowers, created an elegant atmosphere for guests to enjoy.

Jackie looked gorgeous in her wedding dress with a lace overlay, complete with a gorgeous champagne sash. After the ceremony and seated dinner, Jackie transformed her gown by taking off the lace overlay, revealing a fun white dress underneath. This look was perfect for her reception, which Jackie completed with a bling sash.

nicwed506

Patrick Properties treated guests with a seated plated dinner. Guests chose from entree’s of chicken, ravioli, or swordfish. This delicious meal left guests full and ready to celebrate Jackie + Matt on the dance floor. The band Permanent Vacation provided entertainment.

nicwed1238 nicwed1639

Jackie + Matt incorporated many unique decorative items into their reception. A mirrored bar, pretty mix matched frames, and a cigar station were just a few things that the couple got creative with. These unique touches looked gorgeous among the beautiful landscape of Lowndes Grove.

nicwed1451

A lowcountry wedding is not complete without a sweet, southern treat to enjoy. Jackie + Matt gave delicious pralines to guests as a wedding favor. As always, these sweet treats were enjoyed by all.
