Creek Club Wedding: Sara + Jerad

It was a beautiful Creek Club wedding  for Sara + Jerad! Their wedding had tons of color, with pops of peach, coral, pinks and navy blue. Sara and Jerad had a beautiful ceremony outside over looking the water. The Bride had a gorgeous hand tied bouquet of white, blush and hot pink peonies and garden roses along with sweet peas and lisitanthus. Their reception was held inside of the Creek Club, and had gorgeous flower arrangements. The table centerpieces had a low, lush arrangement in a mercury glass bowl of astilbe, ranunculus, hydrangea, garden roses, peonies, majolica spray roses, sweet pea, and lisitanthus. Other floral arrangements varied in the wedding flowers but where ingold glitter glass bud vases. After a delicious stationed dinner, it was time for a family tradition of cookies for dessert! Family members had hand made different assortments of cookies and brought them down to Charleston for the wedding. Yum! Afternight full of dancing, it was time for guests to send the Bride + Groom off with a sparkler departure!

Dunes West Wedding: Meg + Nick

Meg + Nick chose a traditional ceremony at the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church, followed by their reception at Dunes West Golf and River Club. This couples wedding was full of navy and white, preppy details at every turn.

The dinner tables had a combination of  hydrangea centerpieces with lanterns and a smaller variety of flower arrangements on the patio. This couple had pattern done right with their custom navy and white pattern in just the right places. Cocktail sashes, table runners, invitation, and can't forget the favors! Each guests was given a homemade jam made from the grooms family farm in California, what a great favor! This couple thought of everything, they even had custom Hershey Kisses with their names and wedding dates, how cute! Lastly, the adorable navy and white stirrers tied everything together and added a little nautical touch.

Meg + Nick were joined by their guests downstairs  after dinner for the cake cutting and then it was time to dance! Their guests had such a fun time singing and dancing the night away. Later in the evening, guests lined up outside for a sparkler departure and the couple left the wedding in style, in a classy white Rolls Royce.

Lighthouse on Shem Creek Wedding: Amelia + Bryan

On April 13th, Pure Luxe bride and groom Amelia and Bryan wed among the sea breezes, boats, and sunsets of Shem Creek. The Lighthouse on the Creek is an amazing venue that offers breathtaking views of the low country and plenty of beautiful sunsets among the marsh shoreline. This beautiful wedding can be described as fun, simple, and natural. Pure Luxe Bride always enjoys being on Shem Creek, especially when celebrating a fun couple such as Amelia and Bryan.

Beautiful colors of light green and white were used to decorate the ceremony and reception of this natural and clean themed wedding. The beautiful back drop of Shem Creek helped to create this theme.

The great thing about the Lighthouse on the Creek venue is its versatility. Amelia and Bryan's wedding ceremony was held inside the venue, which followed with a cocktail hour outside overlooking the water. While guests enjoyed cocktails and mingled, the inside of the venue was transformed into a beautiful reception.

The ceremony for Amelia and Bryan was sweet and personal, with the father of the bride marrying the couple. At Pure Luxe Bride, we love when brides incorporate unique ideas. During Amelia and Bryan's ceremony, the bride actually turned around and took an instagram photo for #ab413.

Beautiful lighting was used for the reception, which included lanterns placed around the parameter of the dance floor.

The DJ of Finger Snappin' Entertainment had the wedding party and guests on their feet and dancing for much of the reception.

Details of the bride's gown were incorporated into the the cake, what a perfect match to the beading on Amelia's dress!

If getting married on Shem Creek, it is of course necessary that the bride and groom exit in proper style. Amelia and Bryan exited their reception on boat while guests blew bubbles. Who doesn't love the idea of departing by boat?!

Pure Luxe Bride loved planning and designing this Lighthouse on Shem Creek Wedding.
