William Aiken House Wedding: Alex + John

Alex and John hosted their wedding at the William Aiken House, a seamless blend of 18th- century charm and modern sophistication. After getting ready, the couple met on the wrap-around porch for their ‘first-look” which was beautifully captured by Virgil Bunao. The couple was married on the front lawn with an English Garden setting that entailed an olive branch garland wrapping the seating and hanging lanterns in the oak to create a picturesque backdrop for the ceremony. Pink, peach, and white hued blooms with accents of airy greenery topped every table alongside many gold accents. The reception area was full of gorgeous details including the lush floral chandelier, lounge pieces, birchwood and white checkered dance floor, and custom linens from Nuage.  Alex + and John ended the evening with a dazzling sparkler departure as Mr. & Mrs. Kirkpatrick!

Middleton Place Wedding: Stephanie + Brett

A warm, sunny Saturday afternoon was perfect for Stephanie and Brett’s Middleton Place  wedding. After the couple's intimate first look, wonderfully captured by Dana Cubbage, the ceremony took place in the octagonal garden with the large oak tree and Ashley River as their backdrop. The weather paired perfectly with the couple's light and romantic décor. Pretty in pink, the pavillion was set with gorgeous white and blush blooms and soft draping with mini chandeliers and special bride and groom chairs. The couple loved to travel so as their favor they had a plane shaped bottle opener topping each napkin. The favor was adorned with a tag that read 'let the adventure begin' so cute! This perfectly complimented the couple’s personalities and guests were thrilled as they took their seats for dinner. Following dinner, guests danced under the stars with music provided by Darby Event. We wish Mr. + Mrs. Vlasek love, laughter, and happiness ever after!

Magnolia Plantation Carriage House: Lauren + Andrew

There are so many details about this day that we absolutely adored. Lauren and Andrew are the sweetest couple, who are so head over heels in love with each other. The weather was just perfect! The sunshine and soft breeze from the Ashley River at the Magnolia Plantation Carriage House really set the day off to a beautiful start. Lauren and her bridesmaids enjoyed a relaxed brunch together before slipping into their stunning gold sparkly dresses. Lauren's sweetheart dress was accompanied by the most beautiful cathedral veil passed down from her mom. The bridesmaids wore glamorous gold sequined Badgley Mischka dresses that sparkled so beautifully in the sun (you know we LOVE anything that glitters!) Andrew and his groomsmen wore black Vera Wang tuxes with fun matching socks! Lauren and Andrew said "I Do" in a romantic ceremony by the river front. After, guests mingled during cocktail hour outdoors under cafe lighting with beverages and hors d'oeuvres provided by Squeeze on-site and Salthouse Catering. Lauren selected gorgeous sequined linens, a beautiful white for their head table and stunning rose-gold sequined linens for the cocktail tables. Wild Flowers Inc. created magnificent floral arrangements full of hydrangeas, roses and ranunculus in shades of ivories, whites and blush. One of our favorite details was the sparkling gold champagne bottles that doubled as place settings and favors! Emotional toasts were made by Lauren's Father, her Maid of Honor and Andrew's brother. Guests enjoyed great music from Darby Events and lots of fun and dancing! The beautiful wedding cake and other sweet treats were provided by Twenty Six Divine

Folly Beach Wedding: Kelly + Bert

We could not have pictured a better way to end our busy fall season than with Kelly + Bert's perfect Folly Beach Wedding. This sweet couple rented out an enormous house right on the beach to house their family + friends for the weekend. The house also doubled as the perfect venue for their wedding! With high tide coming in right at 4PM, Kelly + Bert had an intimate standing ceremony on the porch of the house. The bridal party was able to have a long beautiful processional up the boardwalk, and Kelly had that sweet bridal moment that every bride wishes for. All eyes were on her as she walked the boardwalk with her dad and met Bert underneath the floral arbor that awaited her. Bert's father was able to officiate the wedding adding personal details and sweet remarks. The couple had written their own vows and the beautiful words brought tears to their loved ones. After the ceremony, the porch was transformed for cocktail hour! Guests were able to look out upon the beach while sipping on a cool beverage provided by Spike. After grabbing a plate of food, guests headed downstairs to the reception area. Kelly's vision of jewel tones came to life with plum napkins and over-spilling greenery. The tabletops were adorned with gold flatware and jewel toned votives. Kelly's cake was truly one of a kind, the purple ombre coat accented the reception space perfectly. This was such a fun crowd, and they danced in the sand till the night came to an end! Kelly + Bert could not have been more in love, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Cottage on the Creek Wedding: Heather + Michael

Heather + Michael shared a stunning Cottage on the Creek Wedding on a beautiful day in September. Vibrant florals and personal details allowed the rustic ambiance of the Cottage to pop! Branch Design Studio made sure to reflect Heather's bubbly and bright personality in all of the florals. Eyes were drawn to her colorful bouquet filled with watermelon ripple garden roses, hot pink parrot tulips, coral ranunculus, and peach Juliet garden roses. Heather's father had officiated all of the weddings for his children, and Heather was no exception. They shared a sweet moment as he walked her down the aisle and began the ceremony. The bride + groom stood on a elegant handmade rug that was gifted to Heather by her best friend. The ceremony alter was softened by ivory fabric covering the shrimp boats, and tall galvanized buckets overflowing with coral spray roses, queen anne's lace, and coral ball dahlias. Once the couple said "I Do", guests enjoyed small bites and cold drinks overlooking Shem Creek. The bar was located underneath the stunning white gazebo which was adorned with a sparkling chandelier. After catching up with family and friends, guests moved inside to enjoy a plated dinner. The bright colors and arrangements on the tabletops were breathtaking. Long pieces of loose driftwood branches accompanied these florals on various tabletops. Heather placed a bag of Charleston shrimp and grit mix on each place setting for the guests to take home and enjoy a small piece of Charleston. After dinner, guests put on their dancing shoes and enjoyed the sunset overlooking Shem Creek. We loved working with Heather & Michael, and wish them everlasting happiness!

William Aiken House Wedding: Megan + Keith

Megan + Keith's William Aiken House wedding  was nothing short of fabulous! The venue was the perfect setting for this white, black, and gold affair captured by Evan Laettner! Gold dipped roses, white modern lounge sets, black chandeliers, and metallic linens...need we say more!? Megan's bridesmaids looked stunning in their head to tow gold glitter Badgley Mischka gowns. One of our favorite details of the day were the place cards, gold horses labeled with guests names to help find their seat. You can never have too much gold in our opinion and this wedding did it just right!

Charleston Wedding: Bohemian Glam Styled Shoot

This 'Bohemian Glam' styled shoot at Boals Farm is the perfect example of why you shouldn't be afraid of bold colors! Our inspiration came from the rustic feel of the venue and the floral napkin you will see incorporated into the tabletop, which helped bloom the rest of the design. We chose to work with vibrant hues of fuchsia, yellow,  burgundy, and navy with the transition into the fall season in mind. When working with color, use it in places that will stand out  and make an impact! We chose to use watercolor as an element to help soften the design, as you can see on the invitation, place cards, signage and cake. As for the dress, we wanted something that wasn't your standard white or ivory, and this blush Lazaro gown was the perfect choice! Even drinks are a chance to add color. This "something blue" cocktail with local ingredients of High Wire Hat Trick Gin, Jack Rudy Tonic, blueberry juice, muddled mint, and club sod garnished with mint and lemon wheel. One of our favorite details are the gold brushed artichokes! Produce is a relatively inexpensive decor item that has so many options to add a pop of color to any tabletop! Add a brush of gold for a more elegant feel. Enjoy browsing through all the pin-worthy details below!

We were so lucky to have Matt of RePeet Productions join us for the day! The video below shows how much work and dedication each vendor puts into making this styled shoot oh so perfect!

Barn at Walnut Hill Wedding: Nikki + Carl

Nikki + Carl said their vows in front of the ruins of an old chimney at The Barn at Walnut Hill.  This low country gem tucked away on John's Island was the perfect complement to the style of this sweet couple. The Barn was transformed into an elegant bohemian reception space. Vintage floral plates were to die for, and the space truly came together with the florals that perfectly accented the china. The wildflower inspired design was even taken up into the ceiling. The old chandelier that came with the barn was draped in flowing greenery and sprigs of lavendar, a perfect example of taking advantage of the full potential of a venue! Nikki + Carl were the definition of sweet tooth's! Following dinner, guests were offered 7 different kinds of desserts provided by Swank! Who even know Peach Iced Tea Macaroons existed?! If that wasn't enough, Nikki provided a candy buffet for guests to take a sweet treat home at the end of the night. Nikki + Carl ended their night sitting around the fire pit laughing with friends and family. Thanks to Cana Mcdonald with Riverland Studios for capturing the pretty!

Middleton Place Wedding: Traci + Alex

This Middleton Place Wedding could not have been a more beautiful fall day for Traci + Alex. The clouds cleared just as the ceremony began at the Middleton Oak. This Oak was incredibly special to the couple because it was the same Oak where Alex popped the question! After a heartwarming ceremony, the guests made their way over to the Crane Pool for cocktail hour.  A horse drawn carriage brought guests over to the pavilion for an intimate seated dinner. The space was softened by a ceiling of ivory drape and lanterns that hung above the guests as they ate dinner. The navy tabletop was the perfect accent for the gorgeous floral centerpieces that stole the show! The lush florals were filled with hues of rust, burgundy, and deep orange to reflect the fall season.  Traci's guests loved sitting in the wicker lounge area by the dance floor. They could rest their feet while still being in the center of the action. The unique cakes provided by Jim Smeal were exactly what the couple had envisioned! Alex had a special cake of his own that was designed to look like a hobbit house! Traci + Alex were such a wonderful couple to work with, and we are so happy that we could take part in their big day!

Middleton Place Wedding: Helen + Aaron

Helen + Aaron's romantic glam Middleton Place wedding was absolutely stunning! The day began with excitement as Helen and her bridesmaids got their hair + makeup done at the Francis Marion Hotel while Aaron and his groomsmen suited up for the big day on Daniel Island. Then, the wedding party all met at Middleton Place for the bride + groom's highly anticipated first look! Aaron was awestruck when he laid eyes on his beautiful bride for the very first time, and the entire wedding party had so much fun photographing on Middleton's gorgeous, lush grounds pre-ceremony. After the signing of the Ketubah and a toast to the soon-to-be Mr. + Mrs., it was time to tie the knot! Luckily, the rain came to a stop just in time for the Helen + Aaron's nuptials in the picturesque Octagonal Gardens. Standing beneath a custom-built huppa by Wild Flowers Inc., the bride + groom said "I do." In traditional Jewish fashion, Aaron smashed the glass and the guests yelled "Mazeltov!" as the new Mr. + Mrs. happily walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. Helen + Aaron departed the ceremony via carriage ride to arrive for cocktail hour at the pavilion where they sipped and mingled with guests before it was time to be announced into the reception! Mr. + Mrs. Aaron and Helen Bernie were announced onto the dance floor to the sounds of "Sweet Home Alabama" before sharing their first dance to "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by Sleeping at Last. Lyrics from this song were incorporated into wedding details such as lounge pillows and custom frames that displayed sweet sayings for the couple. Guests enjoyed a stationed meal by Cru Catering, a special hookah area by Tabbuli, and vintage lounge furniture by Snyder. Shades of blush and ivory gave the pavilion a soft ambiance, while the tent outside had an elegant feel complete with platinum drape by Pure Luxe Bride, silver chivari chairs, and a white plantation bar, complete with a custom light-up bar sign. This design was beautiful, and perfect for the occasion! Guests then enjoyed a dessert bar and dancing, including a very special dance to "HORA", where all of Helen +Aaron's family got up into the chair! As the last song of the night approached, everyone got out onto the dance floor for Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" before Mr. + Mrs. Bernie departed through a sparkler archway to their downtown after party! Wishing Helen + Aaron all the best and a big thank you to Trent Bailey for capturing this gorgeous celebration!
